i feel lucky to have been a part of this show, as even if we hadn't had the chance to play it was one of the coolest vibes at a show i've experienced. the atmosphere set the perfect mood, and people not only packed the place, not only went to the stage when the bands played, but gave a shit - they cheered and nodded and gave the bands something to continue on for. it was something out of a book entitled "this never happens anymore because people don't give a shit about seeing live music unless they know the band or - more importantly - know someone in the band." props, chicago.
